A24 Japan has released a new Backrooms trailer which includes audience reactions to the movie.
Additionally they are reporting that Backrooms has been selling out to full theatres, while the it has made over ¥500M at the box office (approx $3.2M USD).
For some reason the major box office trackers such as Box Office Mojo have not added Japan’s figures to the global box office totals. If added to the current figures, the Japanese figure would see Backrooms globally at $397, 341,002.
We’re hoping it can get to the $4M mark!
