Alternate versions of the posters have been posted by Mark Duplass on his Twitter account. These versions have the more traditional Backrooms coloring reminiscent of the original Backrooms image, while the versions posted by A24 have the coloring of The Complex in Kane Pixels Backrooms series.
The details of the wallpaper designs also appear to be clearer in these versions, with the Renate’s poster showing the chevron wallpaper and Chiwetel’s poster showing the design mostly seen in Kane’s Backrooms series.
