Over the past few days, the Backrooms trailer has been making it’s way up the list of top trending trailers on YouTube, overtaking trailers for Supergirl, Spider-Man and Dune. Today it moved ahead of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone to take the place of the top trending trailer in the US.
This is absolutely amazing for a film like Backrooms, as all of the other movies that are in the list are from major studios with most of them having a huge fanbase.
As a site note, the list is US only, as YouTube doesn’t have a global trending list, only lists per country. In general it does appear that Backrooms is more popular in the US than elsewhere in the world.
