FAQ and Other Site Updates

We have been doing a few updates to the site over the last few weeks, the biggest being the FAQ which is an important part of the site for people who may not be as familiar with the Backrooms or looking for info on the movie’s release.

• New to the Backrooms gives a brief overview of what the Backrooms are as well as some information on Kane Parsons and his YouTube channel.
• Familiar with the Backrooms aims to provide information for people who know of the Backrooms or follow a different lore.
• Movie Release provides some information about the movie’s release that we have come across people asking about.

Updates to the Movie Section:

• Updates to the movie’s About page and Leaks and Info page thanks to kanehypeguy.
• Added sub-sections to Offical Promotions to include a gallery of all official images as well as a dedicated page for the trailers.
• Added a page for Characters (currently based only what we know from the trailer).
• Ongoing updates to the Release Dates page.
• Updated Cast and Crew pages to include newly added credits from the official poster and IMDB.

Miscellaneous Site Updates:

• Added a Ko-fi button if people want to donate to the running of the site. Currently the site is ad-free and hopefully I can keep it that way. But I do have ongoing expenses that I’m currently covering myself such as web hosting and the subscriptions to a couple of WordPress extensions. At the moment the cost of the site is manageable but in the future this may change – if so, I’ll need to rely on donations or ads to support this.
• Added the login/register link to the mobile version of the site as well as a footer for our socials and the Reddit as these were missing.
• Tweaked some other settings for displaying the site on mobile as well as fixed some issues for the display on tablets (note there are still a few issues on tablets so bear with me while I keep working on these!).
• Fixed the link to TheBackrooms.Online so that it goes to a coming soon page for that site rather than just bringing people back to the movie site.
