It looks like Backrooms fans will finally be able to roleplay as an Async Researcher this year for Halloween, as a leaked retail listing reveals that Spirit Halloween will be releasing Async hazmat costumes this season.
Additionally, a Pirate Clark costume will also be released.

Noticed that too. But seems very typical of a more mass-produced costume like that – I’m not familiar with how accurate Spirit Halloween are with other licensed stuff (as I’m in Australia) but I often see licensed costumes online which seem to not get things correct.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the Hazmat costume is reused from something they did in the past. I saw someone comment that the masks were definitely from some generic gas mask costume.
i work at spirit halloween and have seen we have cardboard decals for Backrooms, no costumes yet.
hopefully we’ll find them in our shipments soon!
