A new 15 second Japanese trailer has been released which includes Japanese voiceover. Interestingly the trailer still uses the English dub, even though it has been confirmed that it will be in Japanese.
Also a Japanese preview screening was held on Wednesday, with the reviews we saw on X being positive. In particular some reviews were from people not familiar with the Backrooms who highlighted the uneasy feeling of the spaces and unique concept as being the reasons they enjoyed the movie.
Backrooms is only 5 million short of having a $4M worldwide box office figure, so we are hoping the Japanese release will go well and make it reach this number.
