Earlier today, the official Backrooms website was down for several hours. When it came back, gone was the trailer and wallpaper with the site now redirecting to A24’s cinema times/ticket info site. Although the site also included confirmation of the running time and rating of the movie.
Rated R with a running time of 105 minutes, this lines up with information that came out from the test screening along with the rating that was posted on US cinema websites.
Interestingly, the site actually had an incorrect time listed for nearly 3 hours – they had it listed as being a 145 minute movie (possibly a typo, seeing that 105 minutes is 1 hour, 45 mins).
This onto of many of us fans wondering what was happening as A24 decided to do away with their usual 6am PST trailer drop (the trailer is expected to drop at 9am PST instead).
