On his recent visit to London, content creator Eman Kellam had an opportunity to sit down with Kane Parsons. The interview felt more like two creators chatting rather than a formal media interview.

As they chatted, Kane talked openly. At one point Kane and Eman even share anime recommendations.
It was interesting to read that Kane is under an NDA when it comes to the movie. Those who are members of Kane’s Discord server, Kane’s Facility will know that Kane often likes to share little bits of information about what he is working on, sometimes giving his community a clue to speculate on. But under A24 it appears he had to watch what he could say!
And when taking about expanding something that fans already have an attachment to, Kane reassures us fans that he won’t be changing the fundamental context and continuity of the Backrooms world he has built.
As the article ends, Eman has this to say about Kane.
Kane Parsons is 20 years old and he is already thinking about legacy. Not in a self-conscious way. In the way that people who have always known what they are here to do just quietly get on with it. A24 already know and I hope the rest of Hollywood is taking notes.
