The historic Park Theatre in Vancouver will be holding a series of talks from key creatives about working on the Backrooms movie. Each session will include an introduction followed by a Q&A at the end of the movie.
- Friday, June 5 at 6:30 – Building the BACKROOMS with Danny Vermette (Production Design), Mica Kayde (Costume Designer)
- Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 pm – Capturing the BACKROOMS with Jeremy Cox (Cinematographer), Edward Douglas (VFX)
- Friday, June 12 at 6:30 pm – Shaping BACKROOMS with Greg Ng (Editor), Eugenio Battaglia (Sound)
The theatre also currently has a series of installations that have been put together by production designer, Danny Vermette based around set pieces from the movie.
in addition, patrons can purchase a special edition “It’s Beautiful, Am I Right?” Hazy Pale Ale. This limited edition beer from Backcountry Brewing comes in a special Backrooms themed can with a removable label.
